I feel in my bones a big change is coming,
For which I need to prepare.
From my house to my body and innermost psyche,
I must remain clear, awake, and aware.
To sum up what I was discussing in this week’s report, I’ll repeat that we in the closing phase of a number of cycles prior to the beginning of new ones. These are: Moon’s nodes completing a 1.5 year transit of Scorpio/Taurus, Venus completing a 584 day synodic cycle (with the Sun), the Moon closing her monthly cycle this week.
The balsamic phase of any cycle is a time period of dissolution and letting go that is often accompanied by feelings of confusion, emptiness, and doubt. Think of the end of a relationship, school, or living arrangement to get an idea of what I mean. On the other hand, astrology tells us that there is another, new cycle that begins immediately following the end of the old.
Hence this week’s mantra. The intention with this mantra is to focus more energy on preparing for the next new cycle rather than focusing on what is old, leaving, or gone. Not that it is either/or as there are lessons to contemplate and learn from every cycle but there can be a tendency for people to dwell on the old/negative. Let’s not!
